Base Camp is an exclusive multi activity camp offering an Icelandic experience focusing on quality, safety and comfort. The staff consists of 2 English-speaking mountain guides. Situated in the heart of a breathtaking arctic wilderness, Base Camp Iceland is the perfect base for a truly unique Icelandic experience.

Every day we offer 3 spectacular day tours that our guests are free to choose from: a glacier trek, a snowmobile ride on the ice sheet, and a mountain hike. It is also always an option to stay in camp and relax watching ‘The Sun Parade’, take a short hike, play a game of Ice golf, or enjoy a glass of wine and stories from our guides. Being slightly lessthan 120 kilometers of linear distance south from the Arctic Circle, the sun sets for just a few hours each night.

Base Camp Iceland can accommodate 30 + in tents in tents and for lunch and dinner.
